PodР’В РІР‚вЂњ Pod can be defined as a multi-tier or group of containers that are deployed on a single worker node or Docker host.

In other words we can say it is used for port translation.

Kube-ProxyР’В РІР‚вЂњ It routes the traffic to appropriate containers based on IP address and port number of the incoming request.

KubeletР’В РІР‚вЂњ It is an agent which runs on every worker node, it connects to DockerР’В and takes care of creating, starting, deleting containers.On Worker Nodes following components will be installed It is used by administrators to create pods, services etc. Kubectl utilityР’В РІР‚вЂњ It is a command line utility which connects to API Server on port 6443.It stores configuration data of cluster and cluster state. etcdР’В РІР‚вЂњ It is a Key value pair data base.Controller ManagerР’В РІР‚вЂњ Main Job of Controller manager is to monitor replication controllers and create pods to maintain desired state.Scheduler РІР‚вЂњ It is a program on master node which performs the scheduling tasks like launching containers in worker nodes based on resource availability.API Server РІР‚вЂњ It provides kubernetes API using Jason / Yaml over http, states of API objects are stored in etcd.On the Master Node following components will be installed One server will acts master node and rest two servers will be minion or worker nodes

In this setup we are taking 1 CentOS 7 and 2 Windows 2k19 servers with minimal installation.

In this article we will install latest version of Kubernetes 1.16 on CentOS 7 / RHEL 7 with kubeadm utility.

Kubeadm ( Multi Node Cluster in our own premises).

Kops ( Multi node kubernetes setup into AWS ).

Minikube ( It is a single node kubernetes cluster).

Kubernetes can be installed and deployed using following methods: From the master node we can manage the cluster and its nodes using РІР‚В kubeadm РІР‚Вand РІР‚В kubectl РІР‚Вcommand. In Kubernetes setup we have 1 master (CentOS 7) and 2 worker (Win 2k19) nodes. This reflects services as defined in the Kubernetes API on each node and can do simple TCP, UDP, and SCTP stream forwarding or round robin TCP, UDP, and SCTP forwarding across a set of back ends. Kube-proxy: The Kubernetes network proxy runs on each node. It can register the node with the apiserver using one of: the hostname a flag to override the hostname or specific logic for a cloud provider.

Kubelet: The РІР‚Сљ kubeletРІР‚Сњ is the primary РІР‚Сљ node agentРІР‚Сњ that runs on each node. The scheduler needs to take into account individual and collective resource requirements, quality of service requirements, hardware/software/policy constraints, affinity and anti-affinity specifications, data locality, inter-workload interference, deadlines, and so on. Kube-apiserver: The Kubernetes API server validates and configures data for the api objects which include pods, services, replication controllers, and others. Examples of controllers that ship with Kubernetes today are the replication controller, endpoints controller, namespace controller, and service accounts controller In Kubernetes, a controller is a control loop that watches the shared state of the cluster through the РІР‚Сљ apiserverРІР‚Сњ and makes changes attempting to move the current state towards the desired state. Kube-controller-manager: The Kubernetes controller manager is a daemon that embeds the core control loops shipped with Kubernetes. It stores the configuration of the Kubernetes cluster in РІР‚СљetcdРІР‚Сњ.
